September is here! It have been pretty hot here, but for our 1st Sunday of football it is cool and

breezy, just the way I like it. We have stayed close to home the last few weeks. Orland, where we live, turned 100 years old so we celebrated with a parade and a gathering at the park. It was nice. Andre loves firetrucks and there we a lot of them. Yesterday was the US Forest Service fishing derby. Andre was the youngest fisherman there. There were lots of kids and they were all pulling our good size catfish, but of course we didn't even have a bite. It's okay, it was nice to fish again. I love this time of year. Fall is the best. Even here is Cali it is starting to cool off and the leaves are beginning to change. This time of year makes us slow down, enjoy the weather and stay close to home. I can't believe how fast our summer has gone by, I can't believe we have been in California for almost 8 months, and I can't believe how fast my Andre is growing up. He is like a little man now. He surprises us everyday.
