We have had a very busy summer. We spent some time in Texas and then went on our big cruise at the end on June. We went on the cruise ship the Carnival Destiny. Rob's brother got married to our wonderful new sister Amani. We love her dearly and are so excited to have her in the family. We stopped at 3 islands, Grand Turk, Half Moon Cay, and Nassau. It was amazing. Good food, great company and amazing memories. Andre loved every minute of it. He couldn't wait for the next adventure. We then spent a few days in Miami and Key West Florida. I could lay on the beach every day of my life, I think Andre could too. He loves to play in the sand and had a great time playing with his Grandpa. When we got home all he could talk about was his Grandpa and "My Uncles." I also went home to Idaho for a few days to pick up the dogs that my parents so kindly took care of and for my 10 year class reunion. It's always nice seeing old friends and catching up. On July 15th Andre turned 3 years old! Where does the time go. He now tells me he is a big boy. Makes me a little sad. Of course I tell hm he will always be my baby Andre. Things have slowed a little now. Catching up on family time and enjoying the last days of summer. Andre is officially potty trained! All is took was us taking his diaper away, a few days and poof, he is now a big boy using the potty. GOOD JOB ANDRE!

Spring is here

Happy spring to everyone! We have had lots of visitors lately. Grammy, Papa, Auntie Cara, Mai and all three dogs came down for a weekend. We had a wonderful time as always. A bitter sweet weekend I would say. The weekend was spent just hanging out. We are always in too big of hurry to go places and do things so we opted to stay home and enjoy one another. It was great. Auntie Cara took some wonderful pictures of our little family. She did a fabulous job. THANKS AUNTIE CARA! Charlie, the reason for the visit, loves having visitors here. He gets a smile on his face when he sees his family. It was just the medicine he needed. If you haven't heard, Charlie has been diagnosed with osteosarcoma, aka bone cancer, in his leg. We notices a bump developing in February, took him in and got the terrible news. He seems to be doing ok right now. We are doing our best to keep him comfortable and happy. He has been getting unlimited hugs and kisses from us all. Charlie has been a one of a kind dog. We are so blessed to have him in our lives. He has brought so much joy and happiness. He is our 1st son :) Anyways, other than that the Sanchez family is doing great. We were lucky to get a short visit in this week from Uncle Bubber. It was just one night but we'll take it. I think I have spent more time with Josh over the last 6 months than I have in the last 5 years. It has been really nice. Andre is growing fast. He is my little puzzle master. Give him a puzzle an it is together in 5 minutes. Even if the box says for ages 5 and older. He is amazing. I am so proud of him.
